Designing for mobile applications is exciting because users interact with your design in such a tactile way.
Mr President is a turn-based logic game developed by Factory6, an Irish iPhone game developer.
They approached me with the game mechanics and CGI illustrations already in place and needed a GUI to sit on top. They wanted it to feel “Presidential” and “American”.
To that end I went full-tilt stars and strips. I wanted the design to feel a little corny, in a “Obama-nodding-head-doll” kind of way - plastic presidential.
