Vavavouch brought collective buying to Ireland for the first time. It offers limited deals on a wide range of lifestyle products that require users to tap into their social networks to activate the discounts.
Neil Ayton, the brains behind Vavavouch, approached me to build a proof-of-concept site that looked great and also functioned to spec. In an effort to keep things as simple as possible the entire “buying” interaction was limited to one page, tapping into the Paypal system as well as offering users the options to push their “buy” to a range of social networks.
This was a technically challenging project, but also a very enjoyable one too.
